The purpose of the Coalition for a Tobacco Free Vermont is to promote and assist in the implementation of policies and programs at the state, local, and national levels to reduce tobacco use and its impact on the health and economic well being of Vermonters.

5/15 The Legislative session has officially wrapped up! The Coalition would like to thank lawmakers for taking steps to reduce secondhand smoke exposure and protect the health of Vermonters by passing H.217.  Read the final version of the law. 

 

4/24 Smoke free legislation H.217 passed out of the Senate Health and Welfare Committee 5-0.  Read the version of the bill that passed out of the SHW Committee.
